Twitter was key to President Trump’s rise, letting him speak directly to the public.
Now the Left is trying to wipe his America First movement off of it.
And unhinged leftists tried to get Twitter to cancel an America First Congressman after this move.
Republican Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona has been a top fighter for President Trump’s agenda in the house.
As one of the leaders of the America First movement he’s driven the Left crazy with his stances on illegal immigration and suspicious activity in the 2020 election.
Gosar has made it a point to work with college Republican groups to bring more young people into the party.
As part of this, his posts on social media are often geared towards younger Conservatives.
A recent Tweet from Gosar caused the Left to absolutely lose their minds.
The Tweet which said “Any anime fans out there” (Japanese animation) featured an outrageous video.
In the video Gosar, Marjorie Taylor-Greene of Georgia and Lauren Boebert have their faces superimposed onto characters from a Japanese cartoon.
In the cartoon Gosar, Taylor-Green and Boebert are seen fighting characters with Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez and Joe Biden’s face on them in an obvious fantasy setting where the characters fly around and use lightsabers.
This predictably caused leftists on Twitter to freak out.
They tried to get a hashtag going to ban Gosar but in a surprising move Twitter refused to ban Gosar.
Of course, Twitter still had to do something to censor it.
So they put the Tweet in a restricted state.
That clearly wasn’t enough for the Leftists who were triggered.
Large left-wing accounts demanded that Gosar be expelled from Congress and investigated by the police.
And Ocasio-Cortez whined that Congress doesn’t protect women of color.
These hypocrites going after Gosar are of course some of the same folks who cheered comedienne Kathy Griffin when she appeared with a replica of Trump’s severed head.
Gosar spokeswoman Jessica Lycos gave them a reality check.
“Everyone needs to relax … Gosar can’t fly and he does not own any lightsabers,” Lycos admonished.
With Gosar in the crosshairs of the Left it remains to be seen if he’ll be able to keep his Twitter.
