Ron DeSantis has driven the Left crazy by not backing down.
He’s on the offensive turning Florida into a beacon for liberty.
And a major Social Media player had big news for Ron DeSantis and Silicon Valley should be nervous.
Ron DeSantis became one of the most popular Conservative governors for being a no-holds-barred fighter against the Left.
He stood up to the corporate-controlled media and so-called public health experts to keep Florida free and open for most of the pandemic.
As a result Florida’s economy has been booming while the lockdown crazy blue states are still struggling.
The state’s open economy and Conservative economic policies just scored him another win.
Rumble, a video hosting service, and free speech competitor to YouTube announced it was relocating its U.S. headquarters to Longboat Key, Florida and planned to invest $50 million dollars in the state.
Rumble has exploded in popularity among Conservatives after YouTube has silenced them with heavy handed censorship.
The site has positioned itself as Conservative alternative to YouTube allowing videos on topics like COVID and the integrity of the 2020 election that have been silenced off Big Tech under “misinformation.”
President Trump joined the platform after he was banned from YouTube and Senator Rand Paul, Sean Hannity and other Conservative heavyweights have followed.
As a result the site’s traffic has skyrocketed from 1.6 million users around the 2020 election to 31.9 million in early 2021.
The announcement of Rumble’s relocation comes on the heels of acquiring creator social media network Locals in October to further expand its footprint.
In welcoming Rumble, DeSantis said, “We are thrilled to welcome Rumble to Florida, and we support its mission to promote free expression and stand up to Big Tech censorship.”
DeSantis has positioned Florida as a beacon for free speech in sharp contrast to the Big Tech titans in Silicon Valley.
Earlier in the year he signed into law a bill preventing Big Tech companies from banning Florida political candidates and preventing Big Tech from arbitrarily changing their content moderation policies to ban users.
With a 2022 gubernatorial reelection on deck and potential presidential run in the future standing up to Big Tech will be sure to increase his support among Conservatives.
