A liberal author was just blacklisted for what she said about the coronavirus

Nobody is safe from the wrath of the establishment.

Even left-wingers can get banished for “wrongthink.”

Now a liberal author was blacklisted for what she said about the coronavirus.

Feminist author Naomi Wolf has long been a foil to conservatives, but she bizarrely finds herself on the Right in the current culture war.

Wolf is an old-school civil libertarian who believes that COVID-19 restrictions are nightmarish and authoritarian.

She’s one of the few left-wingers who isn’t afraid to say so publicly, and she’s done it on Fox News with Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast.

Now Wolf has been booted from Twitter for alleged vaccine “disinformation.”

Libertarian activist Brian O’Shea posted her words to his Twitter account after her suspension:

“I was suspended on Twitter for trying to post a two minute video in which I read verbatim a press release from State Sen Kim Thatcher’s (R-OR) office about SB 872, her bill to ban vaccine passports and mask mandates in Oregon. While news of my suspension is trending on Twitter, news outlets are generally omitting the reason. This is the text I read that got me banned from Twitter. Please include it. It’s un-American, generally illiberal, and a very dangerous precedent, to censor civic engagement. Thank you, friends and colleagues.”

Wolf has a laundry list of progressive bona fides, but that didn’t save her from the establishment clerecy because anyone who is counter-narrative becomes a threat.

Wolf first raised eyebrows when she said she would not have voted for Biden had she known about his restrictive COVID positions.

Many laughed at her declaration because Biden had been pro-lockdown throughout the campaign, but in her defense, she was probably only getting news through an “Orange Man Bad” filter.

The establishment has clearly used COVID as a pretext to accrue more power.

But perhaps the most frustrating aspect of the establishment’s embargo on COVID “disinformation” is that the establishment intentionally misled the public about the possibility of the coronavirus coming from a lab.

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails show that epidemiologists were concerned about gain-of-function research and a potential lab leak in the early stages of the pandemic.

But the corporate-controlled press and Big Tech quickly made those discussions verboten.

The establishment doesn’t get to decide what’s true and what isn’t, and certainly not when all of the facts are known.

Wolf’s suspension is yet another escalation by the establishment against free speech and open inquiry.
