A judge’s astounding revenge on the Trump-backed head of one major organization will leave you speechless

Things get ugly in the windy city if Donald Trump has tweeted about you.

One such official just compared what’s going on to a “Hunger Games” episode after the latest shocking incident just broke out.

And a judge’s astounding revenge on the Trump-backed head of a major organization will leave you speechless.

In the past year protests and calls to defund the police have made it a harrowing job.

For Chicago police, the latest drama is coming from inside the organization.

And now the union leader complaining about what has been happening just got silenced.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot might be fine with flouting her own mask rules—like when she recently posted a picture of herself at a game without a mask on—but she’s sticking to her guns when it comes to forcing police officers to report whether they’ve been vaccinated for Covid-19.

More than 4,500 officers refused to do so by the deadline last Friday.

During a press conference, Police Superintendent David Brown said, “I will say and do anything to save an officer’s life,” Brown said during a news conference on Tuesday. “If it takes going through a counseling session, going to a no-pay status, going to internal affairs or a direct order, if that’s what it takes, I’m willing to do it.”

Brown told ABC News, “‘several hundred’ hold-out officers were summoned to police headquarters this week and given a chance to change their minds and hear of the consequences they face for refusing.”

Chicago police union president John Catanzara described the tactics used by the department to get officers to fall in line as something out of the Hunger Games.

By Tuesday only about 2,000 hold outs remained with 21 officers sent home on leave without pay.

The battle is starting to make its way through the courts with a judge issuing a restraining order banning Catanzara and other union leaders from using social media to pressure officers to continue resisting.

It’s no surprise blue state politicians are set against Catanzara, who has hinted at running for Mayor in the future.

Opponents blame him for “riding a wave” of Trump supporters within the department when he won the top position in the union last year with 55% of the vote.

We do know he caught the former president’s attention.

Last year the Chicago CBS affiliate ran a story about Donald Trump sending out a tweet congratulating Cantanzara on winning his position in the union.
