X (formerly known as Twitter) and the company’s CEO Elon Musk have undergone a complete 180 since he took over the social media platform.
Now they are routinely infuriating the same government authoritarians who once controlled much of the platform.
And now a days-old Musk truth bomb has all hell breaking loose in the wake of the tragedy in Maine.
The American Left consistently puts politics above all else
The tragic events in Lewiston, Maine have left families and a community broken.
These horrific murders underscore the crucial importance of mental health monitoring and the futility of the government when it comes to preventing crime.
According to several reports, many individuals warned the authorities about the deceased suspect in these shootings about his violent and erratic behavior, to no avail.
However, before anybody had any idea what was going on in regard to this shooting, the Left was demanding so-called gun control.
But prior to this mass shooting, X owner Elon Musk posted a tweet on X that said, “As tragic as the mass shootings are, armed citizens are essential to the defense of democracy.”

This tweet was posted on October 14, about two weeks before the Maine shooting, yet it effectively swats down the Left’s attempt to politicize these tragedies, which infuriates Democrats who once considered Twitter to be one of their mainstream media allies.
For example, on the day after the shooting, The White House issued a statement which in part said, “I urge Republican lawmakers in Congress to fulfill their duty to protect the American people. Work with us to pass a bill banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, to enact universal background checks, to require safe storage of guns, and end immunity from liability for gun manufacturers.”
The truth is that Joe Biden’s calls for gun control will do little to nothing to prevent gun violence and will only serve to disarm law-abiding gun owners.
Joe Biden and his allies have no realistic solution to gun violence
In the White House’s statement that was issued on the day after the Maine shooting, Joe Biden calls on Republicans to join his efforts to take guns away from law-abiding citizens.
At the end of the day, this mission to disarm the American public will do nothing to prevent gun violence in America.
Criminals will continue to access guns, leaving law-abiding citizens unarmed and defenseless.
Joe Biden’s politicization of mass shootings not only reveals his deep-rooted hatred for law-abiding gun owners but also his desperation to appeal to his radical “woke” base, which has taken over the Democrat party.
